LFWA was founded in the early 80's and now has control over 18 miles of foreshore from Magilligan Point Northwards to the River Faughan Southwards.
Leicestershire Wildfowlers' Association
Founded in 1957 by local wildfowlers, the Leicestershire Wildfowlers' Association has expanded to include many other activities both in the shooting and conservation field.
The DDWA have been active on the Dyfi estuary for many years with wildfowling and Conservation work. Wildfowling on the estuary is by permit only.
The DWA is a club for sportsmen and women committed to wildfowling and field sports and provides opportunities to take part in wildfowling in Poole Harbour.
The South Solway Wildfowlers Association was founded in 1952 and today controls a large area of the English side of the Solway Firth, some 8690 hectares in total.
